Problem
Create safe access around tanks so that training participants can take samples at the right height and in complete safety.
- During their training, participants must be able to move from one tank to another to take samples.
- It is essential for people to focus on what they are asked to do without having to pay attention to risks of falling.
Solution
A path surrounding the tanks, connected by passages at the same height.
- The sampling hatches were inaccessible from the room floor. A floor at the right height thus had to be recreated.
- Trainees had to be able to focus on and carry out their sampling in complete safety. Hence the creation of a guardrails along the entire length of the structure.
