Problem
The SIDES company manages maintenance and manufacturing of fire engines and first aid vehicles.
Work has to be done at different heights on different surfaces during the manufacture and assembly of a fire engine. Moreover, some work has to be done on the roof, and therefore workers may have to deal with risks of falling and losing their balance.
Solution
Therefore a tailored product was created through cooperation between the TUBESCA-COMABI design office and SIDES's technical services.
The final result is a precise response to the customer's specification: a maintenance platform composed of a balustrade, staircase with slip-resistant steps, handrail and stabilisers to assure maximum safety.
Rollers providing perfect mobility make it possible to work on all faces of the vehicle.
